• Led school-requested GCSE Maths intervention sessions for cohorts of 20–30 students.
• Accelerated a GCSE student from grade 2/3 to a 7 in nine months, and guided an A Level student from a B/C to an A.

• Delivered tailored support in KS2 English and Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning.

• Named a top 15 mentor out of a national cohort in the Stem Like Us mentoring programme.

Engineering Academy

Explored engineering functions across Asset & Wealth Management, FICC & Equities, Risk, and Infrastructure Engineering; shadowed engineers and pitched a mobile expense-tracking app in a team design challenge.

Software Engineering Intern, Capital Technology

Built data pipelines for securitised assets with Python, Databricks (PySpark/SQL) and Liquibase, shipped to pre-prod/UAT. Earned a return offer for Summer 2026.

Course Co-Creator, Living Together as Equals in Informatics

Researched and built a course on gender dynamics and equality in informatics, now taught to incoming School of Informatics students.

Spring Week Intern, Women in Technology

Hands-on training on trading data pipelines — pandas for trade visualisation, C++ for market systems, and debugging real production code.

Spring into Technology, Spring Week Intern

Explored career paths in (financial) technology through talks and networking with technologists across the firm; participated in the #CodeForGood Hackathon and won the #MakeItHappen Ideathon. Resulted in an internship offer.

Class Representative, 2nd Year Computer Science

Gathered and relayed student feedback on course content, delivery and assessment to the School of Informatics through weekly meetings.

Data Product Intern

Built an automated onboarding pipeline in Python/pandas using OOP principles to assign candidates to groups at scale.

Financial Analyst

Trained in ESG-focused investment analysis at the UK's first student-run socially responsible investment fund. Led a 30+ page investment proposal on AIA (Hong Kong) with a team of three and pitched it to an investment panel.

Gap Year Placement

Co-taught Year 10/11 IGCSE Computer Science (Python) classes — supervising and correcting students' code, and independently accelerating three mid-year joiners through the full programming syllabus. Also re-vamped and led the school's Digital Skills co-curricular activity, running cross-year-group teams through pitching tech solutions to real problems.
